Abstract

ABSTRACT This creation by the admiration of the author against the background of the character Semar. Semar as one of the puppet characters has unique properties that humble, selfless service, nurturing, and can be used as an example. Creation aims to pour anxiety Semar author will figure that seemed to be present in real life it brings good effect against the author. Making the authors visualize semar figure into the work of art photography. Also preserve the traditional performance art by. Means of photography through the works of art. This creation using observational methods to understand the subject related to the creator's imagination. Images images that have been contemplated and translated into visually form through the artistic creative process of photography using two aspects, namely the level of ideational aspect and level of technical aspects.
