Abstract
Phenomenon that happen within Bali today’s is the phenomenon that
interesting to observe. It can’t be denied that those phenomenons which happen
today in Bali are part of global phenomenon that “is translated” in the different
ways depend on the characteristic of the society. The wrong “translation” of the
modernization in times will bring Bali’s cultures in to its downfall. Basically the
downfall won’t happen if we don’t just accept or absorb the outside cultures
In the creation of this final task, social phenomenon is the source of the
inspiration. Bali’s cultural unique, way of think, and Bali’s geographical
circumstances stimulate the creator to apply those things in to painting.
Visualization on the painting not merely a picture of what we can see materially
but an interpretation that poured in to cartoon painting. The result is the script
entitle, Fenomena Gaya Hidup Masyarakat Bali Sebagai Inspirasi Melukis Gaya
Kartun as the whole works for the final task.
The creation of the painting have been through link of process, started
from exploration, experiment, preparation, forming, and finishing. The whole
works done in the cartoon style. The idea of the creation hoped could be a
massage through visual art so it could raised the consciousness that phenomenon
that happen in Bali today’s if not through the right path can make Bali meet its
downfall.
This massage clearly appear on twelve paintings which held as result of
process of contemplation and creation which have been conducted. All of
paintings was created with the cartoon style slightly insinuate various actual
phenomena which is being happened in daily life of Balinese society
