Abstract

ABSTRACT Sexual activity is the union of the dualistic elements of male and female (lanang-wadon). Sexuality is a process of human reproduction which are created for the continuation of the human population. On one side of sexuality is something that is forbidden if it's done by unmarried couples. But on the other hand, religion and law to justify a couple to engage in sexuality after passing the mating process. In marriage, a couple is required to perform sexual activity or intercourse. Intercourse as an element of dualistic union for the happiness of the family both physically and spiritually. In the teachings of Hinduism also requires couples to engage in sexual intercourse as a practice and teaching of kama as its goal to obtain good descendant that suputra (respect for parents). Through the imagination of the creator of sexuality in marriage, the creator trying to find a symbol of it. Sexuality as a union of two distinct elements symbolized by the creator of the Linga and Yoni. Linga-yoni is the symbol of male and female genitalia. As a symbol of fertility and balance, linga-yoni is present as a symbol of sexual activity. Linga-Yoni present in abstract figurative works created by the creator as a conceptual expression of marriage. By delivering moral messages, the creator of the works displayed by visual and concept promoted by the creator. Sexuality is true and holy think if looked from the side by whom do it, and when them do it. Expected by the creator to the general public regardless of sexuality with one eye as something that is forbidden. Keywords: Sexuality, Marriage, and the Linga-Yoni
