Sesak dan panas menjadi gambaran kota dan beberapa daerah pariwisata di Bali. Kondisi tersebut mendukung berkembangnya bisnis yang menawarkan perawatan tubuh seperti salon dan spa. Dalam tulisan ini studi kasus yang diambil adalah redesain Sekar Ratu Beauty Salon And Spa. Konsep sanga mandala diambil karena sesuai dengan kecintaan pemilik terhadap budaya Bali. redesain ini dimanfaatkan oleh pemilik untuk menuangkan ide yang bernuansa budaya Bali sekaligus memenuhi syarat PERDA Provinsi Bali tentang arsitektur. Redesain ini juga diharapkan mampu mengembalikan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap filosofi, budaya dan tradisi warisan leluhur masyarakat Bali. Dalam penelitian ini mempergunakan pola pikir desain yang merupakan perpaduan antara glass box dan black box. Perpaduan ini berfungsi untuk mengimajinasikan konsep dan menuangkan gagasan desain secara terstruktur. Dari hasil redesain, didapatkan pembagian area pada kasus menjadi sembilan bagian sesuai dengan konsep sanga mandala. masing-masing area pada kasus disesuaikan dengan makna yang terkandung pada masing-masing area dalam konsep sanga mandala. Ornamen tradisional Bali sebagai elemen pendukung dihadirkan dengan bentuk-bentuk yang sederhana seperti bunga dan sulur. Material didominasi oleh batu alam dan kayu sedangkan bentuk disominasi oleh bentuk-bentuk geometris.

ABSTRACT
Hot and croweded become the daily sceneries of several towns and tourists destination in Bali. This condition supported the development of business which offer body care like beauty salon and spa. The case study taken in this writing is redesign Sekar ratsu beauty salon and spa. The sanga mandala concept is taken because it accords to the commitment of the owner to the Balinese art and culture. This redesign is used by the owner to applicate the idea of the Balinese art which is also to fulfil the condition of the Bali Local Government Act concerning architecture. This redesign is also hoped to be able to take over back the people awareness against philosophy, art and traditional heritage of the Balinese. This study use thought concept design as the form of the combination between glass box and black box. This combination is to imagine the concept and to applicate the design idea orderly structured. From this redesign is found nine area devision at the case that accords to concept of Sanga mandala. Each area at the case is adjusted at the meaning of each area of the concept of sanga mandala. The Balinese traditional ornaments as the supporting element is included at the simple forms likes ; flower and rhizome. The materials are from natural stones and wood, while the form is taken from geometris forms.
