Abstract

Pemahaman tentang aura magis masih dianggap sebagian masyarakat sebagai hal yang memiliki konotasi mistik, klenik, musyrik dan anggapan negatif lain yang sejenis. Padahal aura magis merupakan persepsi psikologis yang didapat dari pengamatan, penglihatan dan kemampuan untuk menafsirkan informasi virtual dari lingkungannya yang diteruskan ke rasa. Persepsi merupakan pengalaman cara memandang objek, peristiwa, atau hubungan yang diperoleh dengan menyimpulkan informasi dan menafsirkan pesan yang memberikan makna pada rangsangan indrawi (sensory stimuli). Persepsi juga sensasi ditentukan oleh faktor personal dan faktor situasional. Dengan demikian merujuk pada aura magis dapat diartikan sebagai persepsi psikologis yang didapat dari penglihatan (persepsi visual), dalam menafsirkan kemampuan melihat atau merasakan aura magis. Faktor personal yang dimaksud di sini berkaitan dengan adanya sensitifitas/kepekaan intuisi saat melihat aura magis, karena aura magis yang paling dominan terdapat pada seni tradisi, sedangkan seni tradisi selalu memiliki nilai-nilai dan dikaitkan dengan mitologi tertentu. Pencitraan aura magis dijadikan sebagai subject matter, sedangkan bentuk-bentuk objek yang diciptakan merupakan interpretasi dari metafor yang dikembangkan dari bentuk objek itu sendiri. Upaya untuk mengungkapkan pengalaman pribadi dapat disajikan melalui bentuk simbol yang dipilih, sehingga dapat memberikan pemaknaan pada bentuk objeknya. Simbol yang digunakan merupakan hasil rangsangan dari ide dasarnya. Dengan demikian pengaruh refleksi karisma estetik pamor keris mampu memberi rangsangan dalam mengungkapkan citra magisnya. The Image of Magic Aura Reflected From the Aesthetic Charisma of Keris in Fine Arts The magical aura on pamor keris (the prestige prized asymmetrical dagger) which is visualized in art always relates to angsar or luck. The beauty of the pamor keris generates magical perception that may mean both mystery and admiration. Many common people regard the magical aura having mystical, idolatrous, occultism and any other negative assumptions. As a matter of fact, the magical aurahas psychological perception that someone can observe, see, and interpret virtual information gained from the environment then delivers it to the feeling. Perception is our sensory experience of the world around us and involves both the recognition of environmental stimuli and actions in response to these stimuli. Through the perceptual process, we gain information about properties and elements of the environment that are critical to our survival. Perception is not only determined by personal factors but also situational factors. Therefore, the magical aura means the psychological perception that is gained from the visual perception and ability to see and feel the magical aura. Personal factors refer to the sensitivity to see and feel the magical aura. The dominant magical aura exists on the traditional art which always contain values that are related to a certain mythology. The depiction of magical aura is regarded as a subject matter; meanwhile, the shapes of the objects are regarded as the metaphor’s interpretation of the objects themselves. Personal experience can be expressed using the chosen symbol; therefore, it can give meaning or be meaningful to the objects. The used symbol is generated from the stimulus of the basic idea. Thus, the influence reflection of aesthetic charisma of pamor keris is able to stimulate its magical image. Keywords: Depiction, magical aura, and aesthetic charisma.
