Abstract

Sawah merupakan lahan usaha pertanian yang secara fisik permukaan rata, yang dapat ditanami padi, palawija atau tanaman budidaya lainnya. Berbagai jenis tumbuhan palawija dan hewan seperti burung, belalang, tikus, ular, katak, keong sawah dan masih banyak lagi hewan lainnya, contohnya keong sawah yang memiliki suatu keunikan serta keindahan tersendiri. Dalam kesempatan ini, pencipta mencoba meninjau unsur estetik yang dimiliki keong sawah. Berbagai karakter dan sifat keong sawah yang ditunjukan terhadap lingkungan disekitarnya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut pencipta sangat tertarik untuk mengekspresikan keong sawah ke dalam karya seni lukis dengan mengangkat tema “Keunikan Keong Sawah Dalam Karya Seni Lukis ”. Terdapat tiga masalah dalam tulisan ini, yaitu bagaimana mewujudkan keunikan keong sawah dalam karya seni lukis?, bagaimana penerapan teknik didalam karya seni lukis sesuai dengan keahlian pencipta? dan bagaimana cara menyampaikan pesan keong sawah dalam karya seni lukis? Dalam mewujudkan ide pada karya seni lukis melalui proses penjajagan, percobaan, persiapan, pembentukan dan penyelesaian. Dalam penciptaan karya seni lukis, unsur-unsur seni rupa harus dipadukan dengan teknik sesuai kemampuan yang ditekuni pencipta selama proses belajar. Kesan yang dicapai adalah kesan panas, dingin, siang, malam, dan kesan keruangan serta memperlihatkan keplastisan objek pada masing-masing karya. Diterapkan dengan berbagai teknik dengan menggunakan cat akrilik. Dengan memakai kuas, dilakukan tahap demi tahap secara menyeluruh, agar dapat tercipta karakteristik objek mata serta objek pendukung lainya. Dalam perwujudan objek, di ungkapkan melalui gagasan serta hasil riset dengan melakukan pengolahan konsep foto melalui teknik fotoshop untuk dapat menghasilkan efek warna yang lebih dramatik sebagai acuan dalam berkarya, sehingga dapat merepresentasikan keong sawah beserta situasinya ke dalam karya seni lukis. Hasil dari penciptaan ini berupa sepuluh karya seni lukis dengan judul: Senada, Bercumbu, Makan bersama, Diatas Bayangan, Ketenangan, Satu Kesatuan, Berteduh, Pici – pici, Menikmati kesegaran air dan Bertelor. Melalui hasil riset yang sudah dipilih, pencipta dapat merepresentasikan keong sawah serta situasinya, yang diungkap secara realisme fotografi, sehingga melalui hal tersebut dapat tercipta karya yang estetis dan menyentuh serta dengan makna yang komunikatif. Kata Kunci : Keong Sawah, Objek, Karya Seni Lukis Abstract THE UNIQUENESS SNAILS RICE OF ART WORKS PAINTING Rice Field is a land that is physically flat surface , which can be planted with rice, crops or other crops. Various types of plant crops and animals such as birds, locusts, rats, snakes, frogs, snails rice and many other animals, such as snails rice has a uniqueness and beauty of its own . On this occasion, the creators tried to review the elements of aesthetic owned paddy snails. Based on that the creators are very keen to express snail rice into works of art with the theme "The Uniqueness Snails Rice Of Art Works Painting". There are three of issues in this article, namely : how to realize the uniqueness of paddy snails in paintings ?, how the application of the technique in works of art in accordance with the expertise of the creator ?, and how to deliver messages paddy snails in paintings ? In realizing the idea of the paintings through the assessment process, trial, preparation, formation and completion. In the creation of works art, elements of art to be combined with the appropriate technical capabilities creator occupied during the learning process. The impression that is achieved is the impression of heat, cold, day, night, and spatial impression and show objects on the plasticity of each work. Applied by various techniques using acrylic paint. With a brush, carried out stage by stage as a whole, in order to create the object characteristics of the eye as well as other supporting objects. In the embodiment of the object, expressed through the ideas and research results by processing concept through engineering fotoshop photo to produce a more dramatic color effects as a reference in the work, so that it can represent the situation along with the paddy snails into works of art. Results of this creation in the form of ten paintings titled : Senada (Agreed), Bercumbu (Petting), Makan Bersama (Eating together), Diatas Bayangan (Above Shadow), Ketenangan (Tranquility), Satu Kesatuan (One Unit), Berteduh (shelter), Pici-pici, Menikmati Kesegaran Air (Enjoy the freshness of the water) and Bertelur (Spawn). Through the research that has been selected, the creator may represent rice snails and circumstances disclosed by the realism of photography, so that through it can create work that is aesthetically and touch as well as the communicative meaning.
