Abstract

ABSTRAK Seni bagi masyarakat Bali adalah bagian dari sebuah persembahan, karena melalui persembahan karya seni akan diperoleh nilai pengabdian yang didalamnya tersurat nilai ketulusan yang berorientasi pada penyerahan diri pada alam. Sikap penyerahan diri ini melahirkan nilai-nilai kebersamaan yang dikenal dengan istilah, segilik, seguluk, salunglung sabayantaka, paras-paros sarpanaya. Hingga saat ini, nilai-nilai kebersamaan itu nampaknya telah melekat dalam kehidupan orang Bali serta telah menjadi pranata sosial dalam menata kehidupan masyarakatnya untuk mencapai kesejahteraan lahir maupun batin (jagaddhita). Dalam bidang seni rupa khususnya menyangkut seni ragam hias Ornamen Bali, nilai nilai yang mendasari jiwa masyarakat Bali tetap memberikan warna tersendiri bagi munculnya berbagai keragaman gaya maupun motif yang menghiasi berbagai tempat ibadah, rumah-rumah adat tradisi Bali, serta tempat-tempat rekreasi lainnya baik yang bersifat simbolik maupun estetik. Motif ragam hias pada Ornamen Bali yang sarat dengan nilai simbolis magis, sebagai hasil imajinasi maupun abstraksi oleh seniman terdahulu, adalah sebagai wujud penyerahan diri dan pengabdian yang tulus ikhlas terhadap kebesaran alam sebagai manifestasi Tuhan Yang Esa. Sebagaimana diketahui bahwa persoalan alam dan lingkungan yang terjadi di berbagai belahan dunia saat ini, merupakan persoalan yang sangat krusial, karena fenomena kerusakannya semakin hari semakin kompleks bahkan mencapai titik kulminasi kerawanan yang dapat mengancam keselamatan manusia. Abstraksi-abstrak dalam progresi ritme, bentuk dan ruang, dimaknai sebagai suatu visualisasi alam semesta yang merupakan olahan dari objek-objek atau gagassan dalam bentuk abstraksi-abstrak, bersumber dari bentuk motif ornamen Bali yang telah mengalami proses penggayaan/stilisasi terhadap bentuk-bentuk yang terdapat di alam. Jadi dalam penciptaan ini wujud serta proses visualisasi karya lebih mengarah pada bentuk-bentuk abstraksi-abstrak melalui pencitraan penuh makna tentang fenomena alam serta lingkungan dengan segala problematika yang dihadapinya. Menyikapi persoalan yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat Bali dewasa ini menyangkut fenomena alam yang terjadi, menjadikan persoalan tersebut sebagai issue yang sangat strategis serta menyentuh jiwa pencipta untuk dijadikan subject matter penelitian yang inspiratif. Dari persoalan inilah akan dapat melahirkan ide-ide kreatif, kemudian dituangkan ke dalam karya seni lukis melalui elemen-elemen visual beserta nilai estetiknya, kemudian disusun agar dapat merepresentasikan konsep dari segi pewacanaan maupun kekaryaan. Adapun pengekspresiannya adalah ke dalam bentuk karya seni lukis dengan melakukan perubahan serta pengembangan bentuk serta teknik, mengarah pada bentuk-bentuk abstraksi-abstrak, kemudian dikolaborasikan dengan medium dan elaborasi teknik kolase secara kreatif dan inovatif, untuk mencapai uniqueness dalam suatu karya. Sedangkan di dalam mengartikulasi gagasan/konsep penciptaan, mengacu pada nilai-nilai kekinian yang berorientasi pada nilai pencerahan, bersifat simbolik serta membangkitkan berbagai interpretasi, pencitraan, pemahaman bahkan dapat melahirkan kesadaran baru dalam menyikapi fenomena kehidupan yang terjadi saat ini. Kata-kata kunci: Seni Lukis, Abstraksi-abstrak, menuju progresi ritme, bentuk dan ruang ABSTRACT Art for the Bali people is a part of an offering, because through the art of offerings will be obtained the value of devotion in which the expression of the sincerity value oriented is our submission to nature. This self-giving attitude gave birth to the values of togetherness which is known by the term, segilik, seguluk, salunglung sabayantaka, paras-paros sarpanaya. Until now, the values of togetherness seem to have been embedded in the Balinese life and has become a social in order to organize the community life especially to achieve the physical and spritityual (jagaddhita) welfare. In the field of arts painting especially the art of Bali ornament concerned , the values of the Balinese people still provide its own color for the emergence of a variety of styles and motifs that decorate various places of worship, Balinese traditional houses, as well as other recreational places either symbolic and esthetic. The motif of ornaments for Balinese Ornaments laden with magical symbolic value, as a result of imagination and abstraction by previous artists, is as a form of self-giving and sincere devotion to the greatness of nature as the manifestation of the God. As is known that the problems of nature and environment occured in various parts of the world today, is a very crucial problem, because the phenomenon of complex damage increasingly even reached the point of culmination of vulnerability that can threaten human safety. Abstractions in the progression of rhythm, form and space, is interpreted as a visualization of the universe which is the preparation of objects or the idea in the form of abstractions, derived from the form of Balinese ornamental motifs that have undergone the process of stylization of the forms contained in nature. So in this creation the form and process of the visualization of work leads more to the abstract-abstraction forms through the full of imagery phenomena of nature and the environment with all the problems faces. Addressing the problems faced by the people of Bali today concerning the natural phenomenon that occurs, making the issue as a very strategic issue and touch the soul of the creator to be the subject matter of inspiring research. From this problem will be able to produce creative ideas, then poured into the works of painting through visual elements and aesthetic value, and then compiled in order to represent the concept of terms of pewacanaan and kekaryaan. The expression is in the form of painting by changing and developing forms and techniques, leading to abstractions forms, then collaborating with creative and innovative medium and elaboration of collage techniques to achieve uniqueness in a work. While in articulating the idea / concept of creation, referring to the values of contemporary-oriented value of enlightenment, are symbolic and generate a variety of interpretations, images, understandings and even can give birth to a new awareness in addressing the phenomenon of life that happens today.
