Abstract

Television comes from two syllables, tele derived from Greek which means far away, and vision or vision from English it means to see. So television means «seeing far» The pace of development of information and communication technology in the current era of globalization is very influential on aspects of peoples lives both national and even religious, Information is an important need in human life. In the article, the author wants to discuss background music in the Bali Channel News the program plays background music is very important in a program. It can be seen at the beginning of each segment and also at the end of the segment. it means that background music that is part of the bumper is also very important. In this stage, the author looks for information about background music. An interview is a way of collecting data that is used to obtain information directly from the source. In collecting data the author also conducted a live interview with The Producer of Bali Channel News. This aims to know and be able to dig up some information from the partner to get data in the form of recordings, so in the process of working on background music becomes more accurate during the author doing the MBKM process in Bali TV a lot of knowledge that the author gets. for example, starting from the world of broadcasting, then about any program on Bali TV, then participate in carrying out the program such as BRTV show how to prepare a place for the shooting thing process of BRTV shows how to do background music for Bali Channel News program to solve copyright problems .
