Abstract
“The hydrological cycle of water emergence originates from sea water vapor that gathers in the form of clouds and water falling from the sky in the form of rain over the mountains. After falling to the ear th it burrows into the ground through the holes created by countless tiny creatures (micro-organisms). Water moves through the canal chambers through layers of sand and soil and rocks. When the water finally reaches a layer of hard clay or stone bed, the water drops collect and flow as springs (teletuan) and then flow through various types of watercourses such as tributaries, then several tributaries join to form the main river leading to the sea, once again to be evaporated into the atmosphere. That’s the’’journey of water on ear th. In mythology, the river as the pulse of the water cycle is Naga Basuki, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The dragon’s head is the sea, its tail is the mountain and its body is the river. The dragon’s head goes into the sea to move the sea water until it evaporates to become cloudy. The clouds continued to rain, then the rain was accommodated by a mountain in the form of a dragon’s tail. Mountains store rainwater and then flow it into springs, lakes, rivers and continue to the ocean.
