Abstract

This study aims to revitalize the role of performing arts in the midst of their people and empower actors performing arts theater Cirebon. For this research it intends to get a model, both studies as well as in contemporary packaging that can empower local performing arts community needs in his day. The method used in this research using phenomenological approaches and qualitative paradigms. To get the model studies and packaging theatricals, data search focus is directed on material performance, elements of the show, and the structure of the show, and the values and performances are still to be understood today’s society. After going through a series of studies will be conducted packaging theatricals, especially against the compaction duration, the addition and reduction of material performance, the actualization of the elements of the show with no change in the structure and values that exist and are still subjected to by society. The results of this study is a model study and packaging theatricals Cirebon. Model studies and packaging generated theatrical Cirebon expected to inspire the folk performing arts theater in Indonesia, for the performing arts community continues to live and support his supporters.
