Abstract

ABSTRAK RELIEF ORNAMEN PENGARUH KOLONIAL BELANDA DI BULELENG DENGAN KAMERA LUBANG JARUM PADA FOTOGRAFI EKSPRESI Berawal dari kesenangan melakukan eksperimen dan tergabung dalam komunitas sebagai praktisi fotografi lubang jarum serta di dukung pendidikan penulis di bidang fotografi. Muncul ide untuk membuat karya foto ekspresi dengan memotret relief menggunakan berbagai macam bentuk kamera lubang jarum yang penulis buat dari barang bekas. Penciptaan ini bertujuan untuk menampilkan konsep dasar berkarya penulis, dari sejarah untuk sejarah. Penulis bermaksud menampilkan relief sebagai bentuk karya seni rupa, bagaimana orang terdahulu merekam peristiwa dan saat ini dapat dilihat sebagai bentuk penggambaran dari peristiwa sejarah. Kamera lubang jarum sendiri memiliki sejarah perkembangan yang cukup panjang hingga sampai pada zaman digital saat ini. Menggunakan kamera lubang jarum, memberikan kebebasan bagi penulis untuk bereskperimen sesuai dengan imaji-imaji yang penulis kehendaki. Imaji-imaji yang telah direnungkan dan diterjemahkan ke dalam bentuk visual artistik melalui proses kreatif dengan menggunakan dua aspek fotografi. Dua aspek tersebut meliputi aspek ideasional dan aspek tataran teknikal. Adapun dasar yang digunakan dalam mewujudkan karya yaitu, eksplorasi dan kreatifitas dalam bereksperimen sehingga menghasilkan konstruksi yang baru berupa visualisasi karya fotografi ekspresi sebagai hasil dari fantasi tema fotografi lubang jarum dengan mengambil objek relief. Penciptaan karya fotografi ini diperlukan penguasaan teknis dan pemahaman dari setiap kamera lubang jarum. Semua aspek tersebut akan menentukan hasil yang diperoleh, karya yang diciptakan tidak hanya berbentuk visual semata, tetapi memiliki nilai estetika, mengandung kreatifitas yang menekankan pada proses berkarya. Mengandung nilai historis yang dapat mengingatkan sejatinya manusia adalah bagian dari sebuah peristiwa sejarah. Kata-kata kunci : Relief Ornamen, Pengaruh Kolonial Belanda, Buleleng, Kamera Lubang Jarum, Fotografi Ekspresi ABSTRACT INFLUENCE OF HOLLAND COLONIAL ORNAMENTAL RELIEFS IN BULELENG WITH PINHOLE CAMERA IN EXPRESSION PHOTOGRAPHY Starting from the pleasure of doing experiments, being member of the community as a practitioner of pinhole photography, and supported by education in the field of photography, came the idea to create a work of expression photo with photographing various forms of relief using a pinhole camera that the author made from recycled materials. The creation aimed to show the basic concept the author’s work, from history to history. Author intends to show relief as a form of art work, how the past is recorded and current events can be seen as a form of depiction of historical events. Pinhole camera itself has a long history of development up until today's digital age. By sing a pinhole camera, it provides freedom for writers to do some experiments accordance with the images that the author wants. Images that have been contemplated and translated into visual form through the artistic creative are processed by using two aspects of photography. Two aspects include ideational aspects and technical aspects of the level. The bases used in creating the work are: exploration and creativity in the experiment to produce a new construction in visualization of expression photography as a result of fantasy theme pinhole photography by taking the relief object. This required the creation of the photographic work of technical mastery and understanding of each pinhole camera. All these aspects will determine the results obtained, the work created is not only visually formed alone, but have aesthetic value; it contains creativity that emphasizes the working process. It contains a historical value that can remind people actually are part of a historical event.
