Abstract

Pulau Bali atau yang sering disebut Pulau Dewata ini merupakan Pulau yang terkenal hingga penghujung dunia, Bali terkenal sebagai tujuan pariwisata dengan tradisi dan budayanya. Bali juga menawarkan banyak hal lain yang tidak kalah menarik, seperti kesenian, alam, serta kebiasaan masyarakat Bali yang sangat kental dengan budaya, begitu juga dengan kuliner khasnya. Masakan Bali memiliki ciri khas yang unik dengan menggunakan berbagai macam rempah-rempah yang dipadukan menjadi satu sehingga mengasilkan cita rasa tersendiri. Seiring dengan banyaknya wisatawan peminat masakan Bali, sehingga mendorong beberapa orang membuat wisata kuliner yang berbeda yaitu tidak hanya menikmati masakan namun dapat belajar memasak masakan khas Bali. Perkembangan dalam kuliner khas bali semakin meningkat dengan mulai berkembangannya cooking class yang menawarkan makanan khas Bali. Salah satu cooking class dimana para wisatawan dapat belajar memasak masakan khas bali adalah Payuk Balinese Home Cooking Class. Dari masing-masing cooking class menawarkan program belajar memasak masakan khas bali dengan kelebihan dan ciri khas yang dimiliki sehingga meninbulkan persaingan, maka dibutuhkan media promosi untuk menarik minat konsumen terhadap kuliner yang ditawarkan oleh Payuk Balinese Home Cooking Class. Melalui metode penelitian, dan data-data yang diperoleh melalui hasil observasi, wawancara, kepustakaan dan dokumentasi di Payuk Balinese Home Cooking Class. Teori yang digunakan dalam kasus ini adalah teori Semiotika. Kemudian diolah melalui analisis data skala Likert, sintesa, dan melaui proses perumusan konsep kreatif, sehingga diperoleh konsep “Natural” yang akan digunakan sebagai acuan dalam perancangan media promosi Payuk Balinese Home Cooking Class untuk memperkenalkan serta menarik minat konsumen. Media yang dirancang untuk media promosi Payuk Balinese Home Cooking Class adalah, voucher, neon box, x-banner, web banner, folder, goodybag, iklan majalah, talenan, iklan kendaraan dan katalog. Dimana dengan media-media tersebut dapat meningkatkan jumlah konsumen yang datang. Kata Kunci : Cooking Class, Payuk Balinese Home Cooking Class, Media promosi. Along with many tourists who are interested in Bali, boosting cuisine some people make culinary tours that different from that is not only enjoy cooking but can learn cooking cuisine Bali. The development of the special culinary bali increasing by starting development cooking class that offers special food Bali. One of the cooking class where the tourists can learn cooking cuisine bali is Payuk Balinese Home Cooking Class. From each cooking class offers special food program study cooking bali with the strength and the characteristics of inventory so cause competition, so it would be needed media promotions to attract customers to culinary offered by Payuk Balinese Home Cooking Class. Through research methods, and data obtained through observation, interviews, literature and documentation in the Payuk Balinese Home Cooking Class. The theory used in this case is a theory of Semiotics. Then processed through a Likert scale data analysis, synthesis, and through the process of formulating the concept of creative, in order to obtain the concept of “Natural” to be used as a reference in the design of the Payuk Balinese Home Cooking Class media campaign to introduce and attract customers.
